The University of Texas announced Friday morning that senior guard Kerwin Roach was indefinitely suspended for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

Chip Brown of 247Sports reported that Roach will at least miss the Oklahoma game this Saturday with no timetable of his return after that.

Roach is the Longhorns' leading scorer averaging a career-high 15 points per game, has played the most minutes this season and has the cecond-most 3.1 assists per game behind sophomore Matt Coleman. Texas (15-11) is currently in a fight for the NCAA Tournament as the Big XII Conference Tournament approaches.
