Baylor suffered a major preseason blow this week. 

Wednesday night, Baylor announced that senior Didi Richards would miss an indefinite amount of time with no timetable to return following a collision in practice with fellow senior Moon Ursin on October 24. Ursin suffered a concussion and has entered concussion protocol.

Richards suffered a Spinal Cord Injury Without Radiographic Abnormality which was described as “a shock to the spinal cord that causes temporary impairment,” according to a press release.

Richards is the reigning National Defensive Player of the Year.
