Two players who played college ball in Texas were selected in the lottery of the 2019 NBA Draft Thursday night.

It was going to be a runaway, a landslide for coach Kim Mulkey and her Baylor Lady Bears.

The Flower Mound junior should return well before the beginning of the 2019-20 season. 

The Lady Bears become just the third program to win three championships in women's basketball history. 

The Red Raiders will try to become the first Texas team since 1966 to win the men's basketball championship.

So maybe the Baylor Lady Bears have another special and very difficult date with history after all.
